Louise Webster, mum of two and successful entrepreneur was recently a panellist at the Networking Mummies and Amway event. The event centred around ‘Success from Within’ and here Louise talks about what having ‘Success from Within’ means to her.

If there was one thing to take away from the recent networking event I attended with Networking Mummies and Amway, it is that everyone has the passion to drive their own success. Sometimes we just need a nudge or support in unlocking it.

After becoming a mum, I realised my story didn’t fit anymore. I moved out of London and became an entrepreneur and found my passion, setting up Beyondtheschoolrun.com.

I was really excited to speak at an event that centred on finding Success from Within. For me, ‘success from within’ means being true to myself and my values, having ambition and passion and working on a purpose to achieve something you love doing while taking steps daily – it’s not a race but a steady pace.

It’s important to make wellbeing your priority as wellbeing and career or entrepreneurial success work hand in hand. Look after yourself through exercise and nutrition both for a healthy body and mind. This helps you find your inner strength and drive to succeed.

All of these are key learnings I needed to embrace and overcome in order to grow beyondtheschoolrun.com in the hours available as a mother.

One of my favourite mantra that helps me to focus almost daily came from the brilliant entrepreneur, Steve Jobs who owed some of the success he experienced in business to the following statement. He said: “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life… have the courage and intuition.” I challenge myself daily to not live someone else’s life but to have courage, conviction and intuition and I encourage other women to live their best lives so they can feel a sense of achievement and success from within.
