I don’t have to tell you that the world is moving faster all the time. In all the rushing about, it’s very easy to rush into transactions with suppliers without taking the time to learn all the facts. Assuming that you don’t need to take the time to read through agreements or Ts & Cs can lead to expensive headaches later.
You may find the product or service you’ve paid for only gives you seven days to change your mind, but you know you are going to be on holiday for the next two weeks so won’t be able to try it out. If you don’t like it, you are stuck with an expensive but useless item. What if your supplier lets you down – if you cancel the job after some work has been done, will you have to pay a penalty?
It’s always worth clicking through to see the Terms and Conditions of sale when buying online. You never know what small print may lurk there that could come back to haunt you later.
Always read the terms of sale. If they are not clearly posted, ask to see them. You may be glad you did!
