By Haddie Kilner - Usborne Books
Having worked until midnight the night before, all I wanted to do was hide under the duvet all day as I looked out the window at the grey sky, but guilt got the better of me, and seeing as I had collected sponsorship money for the children, I had better go. Then the mad rush started, quickly dressing and darting out the door to grab something to take for the bring and share picnic, what was easy I thought, french stick!
Once we arrived the children all had a lovely time chasing each other around the field and I actually decided that it was probably a good idea to be out in the fresh air. After an early lunch we all set off on our Toddler Waddle, once photos had been taken as evidence, we started our walk, or as in the case of my children a scoot and a run around the pond. It was lovely for the children all to be together and for the mummies to be able to chat. After the walk around the pond, the children received their goody bags donated by Charlie Moo's with fillers from Ollie's Closet , Musical Steps , Phoenix Cards and Monkey Music and gorgeous Usborne Books as reward for their hard effort.
We had a really enjoyable day and i hope that we have raised lots of money for the meningitis trust.
** Well Done to everyone who took part in the Toddle Waddle as we managed to raise £184.50 for the very important charity The Meningitis Trust **
